CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR SUPERVISION OF THE REHABILITATION OF JULIUS NYERERE AVENUE

The Government of Mozambique has applied for financing in the amount of US$ 50 million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Maputo Municipal Development Program II (MMPD II) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for an experienced Consultancy firm to provide supervision Consultancy Services for Supervision of the Rehabilitation of Julius Nyerere Avenue.

Tender launched for rehabilitation of two CFM-owned tug boats

The National Ports and Railways Company (CFM) has launched a tender for the rehabilitation of two CFM-owned tug boats presently in service with the Maritime Services division of the CFM Central Region. The tender documents may be obtained from the Beira Maritime Services offices or in electronic format. The two vessels will be available for inspection today and tomorrow. The tender closes on the 8th of February.

FUNAE: DEVELOPMENT "PROGRAMME DOCUMENT" FOR LONG-TERM COOPERATION WITH SUPPORT FROM NORWAY

The Government of Mozambique signed a cooperation agreement with Norway Development Cooperation to Support ENERGY FUND (FUNAE) and intends to apply part of this funding to make payments to the Consulting Contract for the Development of a Program Document (Technical and Financial) for Long Term period (5 years) in order to become an institution more effective and able to achieve its objectives through a coherent process.

Millennium Challenge Account Mozambique (MCA-Mozambique) on behalf of the Government of Mozambique, acting as the Employer, intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of MCC funding, to eligible payments under a Contract associated with this Invitation for Bids ("IFB"). Payments by MCA-Mozambique will be subject, in all respects, to the terms and conditions, including restrictions on the use of MCC funding of the Compact. No party other than the Government and MCA-Mozambique shall derive any rights from the Compact or have any claim to the proceeds of MCC Funding. TENDER FOR CHIBUTO HEAVY SANDS DEPOSIT



The Ministry of Mineral Resources (MIREM) of the Republic of Mozambique is issuing this request for proposal for and on behalf of the State in connection with the provision of Law n. 14/2002 of June 26 (the Mining Law). The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to select a heavy sands developer who, with reference to the terms of reference and guidance notes, and in accordance with the Selection Criteria presents the most advantageous proposal for the development of the Chibuto Heavy Sands Deposit and related infrastructures.
The selected Heavy Sands Developer shall be responsible to undertake subsequent Mining operations to develop the Chibuto Heavy Sands Project.
